Bruce Fraczek, 88, died December 16 at  Park Health Care, Fairfield.

Survivors include his sons, Kirk Fraczek and his wife, Nancy, of Newtown, and Lee Fraczek and his fiancé, Sherry Winter, Yonkers, N.Y.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his cockatiel, Baby.

He was a US Army veteran of World War II, having been a part of the Invasion on D-Day in the fourth hour. He lived all of his life in the Bridgeport/Fairfield area and was an electrician with Local 488 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 40 years.

Memorial donations may be made to VNA Hospice, 680 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT 06468.  Services will take place at the convenience of the family.
