To the Editor:

I felt the urge to do up a poem about the new community/senior center because I was so enthusiastic about it finally becoming a reality. This is what I wrote:

It’s all brand new,

Just look at the view.

It’s a joy to be a part of it, you will see

You can join in the fun or just an observer be.

You know your old friends can’t be beat,

But new ones you meet might be a real treat.

Any classes you take will definitely pass the test,

But please make sure to investigate all the rest!

We have teachers, volunteers, speakers, entertainment,

Pottery, art, trips, parties, games, exercise classes, and TV/bowling.

There is a cafeteria, two swimming pools, library, pool table,

Rooms just for socializing, and so much more.

If it’s something familiar or different you are looking for

Just come right on in this July and check out every door!
