Masonicare Plans 8th Annual Bill Guthrie Golf Classic

ORANGE — Marsh, a risk management and brokerage firm with offices in Hartford and Stamford, and Wollmuth, Maher & Deutsch LLP, attorneys at law in New York, have signed on as title sponsors for the 8th Annual Masonicare Bill Guthrie Classic. The golf tournaments will be played Monday, August 21, at the Race Brook Country Club in Orange, and benefits older adults in Connecticut.

Mathog & Moniello Companies, workers compensation and risk management leaders for the healthcare industry, of East Haven, return as a major tournament sponsor.

Last year the classic raised over $100,000. This year organizers hope for another successful tournament, which will again support Masonicare’s programs and services. Masonicare, a not-for-profit organization, is the largest provider of senior-focused health care services in Connecticut. Services are provided through its many affiliates including Masonic Geriatric Healthcare Center in Wallingford, Ashlar of Newtown, and the Connecticut VNA.
