Allan D. Flynn

Private Investigator

Allan D. Flynn, 72, husband of Barbara (Falco) Flynn, of Newtown, died Wednesday, October 19, at his home, after a short illness. He was born in Bridgeport, February 23, 1939, a son of Ethel (Anderson) and Raymond Flynn.

Mr Flynn was a graduate of Fairfield College Preparatory School. He was a private investigator, and the owner of Flynn Investigations. A resident of Newtown since 1962, Mr Flynn enjoyed gardening, and was a fan of the Yankees and football Giants.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Timothy A. Flynn of Oxford and Brian D. Flynn of Waterbury; a daughter, Deborah A. Flynn of Woodbury; a brother, Thomas Flynn of Milford; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Richard M. Flynn, predeceased him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, Monday, October 24, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Sunday, October 23, from 3 to 6 pm.
