Banjo Society At First Thursday

WATERBURY — All 15 footstompin’, banjo playing, singing members of The Elm City Banjo Society will be at The Mattatuck Museum for the next First Thursday event on December 6.

The event will run from 5:30 until 7:30 pm at the museum, 144 West Main Street. Admission is $15 for adults, or $7 for museum members. The series offers a monthly celebration of the arts and culture of the Waterbury region with music, socializing and light refreshments. Dance instruction and demonstrations are also offered each First Thursday by members of Watertown-based Connecticut Dance Theatre.
