Canine Advocates Say Thanks

To the Editor:

Canine Advocates of Newtown, Inc would like to thank the Newtown Congregational Church for donating a space to enable us to participate in their flea market at Fairfield Hills last weekend. Barbara Field, who was in charge of the event, was welcoming and wonderful to us.

Sunday was a perfect day and many people stopped by to support us with donations, purchases, and good wishes. All the dogs at the Newtown Pound are very appreciative and would love to send everyone tail wags and kisses. They also want to send special kisses to their regular walker friends and CAN volunteers, Mary Gaudet, Jim Wilson, Karen Nash, Stacey Smith, Judy Caracciolo, Jane Calverley, and Rose Crofutt, who gave up part of their weekend to help raise money so all the pound dogs can be spayed/neutered and given shots prior to adoption. Annie Schneider and her friends, Nicole Rivieccio and Kristen Amodeo, were once again also very helpful and generous with their time.

It is so obvious that Newtown loves all its dogs.
