It was truly uplifting to read about the Better Day Café in the July 5th edition of the Bee. What a meaningful and impactful program! Congratulations to Matt Ariniello, Newtown’s Community Center director, on accomplishing the implementation of this program and to Noel Loveland, transition coordinator for Newtown Public Schools, for coordinating the effort. This program will do more than provide a meaningful connection to the community; it will also provide invaluable training and experience to those involved. I look forward to visiting the Café and wish all the greatest success in this endeavor.
