New England Air Museum Will Host Winter Holiday Vacation Programs

WINDSOR LOCKS — New England Air Museum will feature five days of children’s programs between Christmas and New Year’s. All programs are hands on and offer a variety of activities.

Sunday, December 26: Scavenger Hunt and the flight simulator will be open.

Monday, December 27: “Make and Take” plastic modeling workshop for ages 8 and up.

Tuesday, December 28: Open Cockpit Event (wear sneakers or rubber soled shoes).

Wednesday, December 29: Make and Fly Balsa and Tissue Model Workshop, ages 8 and up.

Thursday, December 30: Scavenger Hunt and the flight simulator will be open.

The museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm daily (closed Christmas and New Year’s).

Admission is $8 for ages 12 and up, $7 for seniors, and $4 for ages 6 to 11. Children under 6 will be admitted free.

New England Air Museum is adjacent to Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks (Exit 40 off I-91 North or South and follow the signs) at 36 Perimeter Road.
