Governor Dannel P. Malloy’s Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is next scheduled to meet on Friday, November 14, at 9:30 am. The commission announced on November 12 that it will be in the lower meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street in Newtown.

The Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is Gov Malloy’s 16-member panel of experts tasked with reviewing current policies and making specific recommendations in the areas of public safety, with particular attention paid to school safety, mental health, and gun violence prevention. It usually meets at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.

The group on Friday is scheduled to receive presentations from Nelba Marquez-Greene, Jeremy Richman, and Jennifer Hensel, parents of children killed on 12/14.

Information on the group, including details on how to contact its members and documents from each of their meetings, can be found online at .www.ct.gov/SHAC
