Breakfast At

The Barnum

BRIDGEPORT — Once each month, The Barnum Museum offers its “Breakfast At The Barnum” program, which presents a special family program and breakfast on a Saturday morning at the museum.

On December 18, visitors to the museum will enjoy an introduction to Russian folk art, music and dance as featured in a presentation of The Snow Maiden. Young Audiences of Connecticut and Purple Rock Productions will perform the winter fantasy folk tale with marionettes.

Doors open at 10 am, and the program begins at 10:30. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 seniors and college students, or $3 for ages 4 to 18. “Breakfast at the Barnum” includes a continental breakfast and self-tours of the museum.

The current temporary exhibits at The Barnum are “That’s All Folks! Bugs Bunny and Friends of Warner Bros. Cartoons,” with production artwork from the Warner Bros. Cartoon Studio, and “Shocked And Amazed: The World of Side Show,” with mementos from and hands-on exhibits exploring the lives of side show performers, along with antique and contemporary circus banners.

The Barnum Museum is located at 820 Main Street. Call 203/331-1104 for reservations or additional information.
