WWII Army Veteran

John “Janos” Janisch, 90, of Newtown, died June 23 at Danbury Hospital. Mr Janisch was born in Little Ferry, N.J., and was a longtime area resident.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Helen Nakoneczny Janisch; two sons, Russell Janisch and Paul and his wife, Laura Janisch, all of Newtown; three grandchildren, Sarah Janisch, Kate Janisch, and James Janisch; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a retired parts inspector for AVCO Lycoming and General Electric. Mr Janisch was a World War II Army veteran.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice through the funeral director. Arrangements by the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull CT 06611.
