Popcorn Theater At Grace Christian Church

Members of Grace Christian Fellowship are raising money so that the church’s senior high youth group can participate in a mission trip in Los Angeles. Through group is planning to be on the West Coast for the stretch of July 1-9. One of its major fundraisers will take place this weekend, when the group presents a two-act whodunnit comedy-mystery by Pat Cook called The Joker Fired Twice. Rehearsals have been taking place recently, as seen in the scene above. Performances are planned for Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, at 7 pm each night. Tickets are $15 for regular seating or $20 for an orchestra seat. Student tickets are $10 in the regular seating area. The church is at 174 Mt Pleasant Road in Newtown; call 270-1005 for additional information. There will be refreshments served. During the intermission there will be a brief presentation about the trip and an offering will be received.
