Beloved Husband

And Father

David Michael Forde, 60, of Sandy Hook, died after a long illness, October 26, at the Hebrew Health Care Hospital in West Hartford. Mr Forde was the husband of Janet Torok Forde.

 He was also the beloved father to Margaret Forde of Plainville, and Erica Kowalski of Woodbury. A son-in-law, his most adored grandson, one brother, two sisters, and many nephews and nieces survive him.    

Mr Forde worked for United Rentals until 2007. He loved nature, hiking, and animals, especially his beloved dog, Pepe, who was his loyal companion throughout his illness, and his cat, Kramer. He will be missed by all who knew him.

At Mr Forde’s request there will be no calling hours. The family is planning a private celebration of his life in the future.
