Digital Cameras At Next Meeting
The Genealogy Club of Newtown will have its next meeting on Wednesday, January 9, at 7. The group will be in the meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.
Cathy Vaneria of Connecticut Photographics will be the speaker, and her topic is âGetting the Most from your Digital Camera.â
Ms Vaneria is the president and co-owner of Danbury-based Connecticut Photographics. She has taught at WestConn and has studied digital photography in a Masters of Fine Arts program. She also has an interest in photo preservation.
Her program will cover the basics of using a digital camera, and how it can be used to enhance genealogy research.
The Genealogy Club meets the second Wednesday of each month, and is open to anyone interested in family history. Refreshments are provided. Call Cathy Hugo at 426-1840 for info.
