Which news stories have you been following into the New Year?

Lauren Briganti: “We have all certainly been hearing a lot about Michael Jackson! I think the media sensationalizes news coverage. There should be more positive news, or more important news [than him].”

Morgan Little: “I think it’s unfortunate that stories like the Michael Jackson investigation have overshadowed stories like the war in Iraq.”

Senthil Raj: “I have been following the presidential campaign, particularly Howard Dean. I think he needs to do more to prove his ability to lead.”

Cody Sekela: “I was surprised when I learned that Saddam Hussein was caught. I didn’t think it would happen!”

Beryl Harrison: “It is striking to me that in the News-Times recently, the three lead stories were about Pete Rose, Governor Rowland, and the judge who was a friend of Mr Trudeau’s, people who have all deceived the public.”
