Police Seek Owners Of Found Items
The police station is the local repository for âfound itemsâ that people turn over to police for safekeeping.
Items currently in storage, starting with the most recently found goods, include: a Chrysler automobile key with a keypad attached; a pair of womanâs sunglasses; a Boss-brand audio equalizer; a wall-mount lighting fixture; a baseball bat with the name âJack Wâ; a cordless telephone; two camping tents; a pair of sunglasses; a womanâs Seiko-brand watch; a toolbox; a bracelet; a set of keys with a small harmonica attached; a womanâs Armitron-brand watch; a pair of metal-frame eyeglasses; a small ladder; and a manâs watch.
Police hold found goods for a specified time, after which they are discarded or given away. The owners of the found items should contact Patrol Sergeant Darlene Froehlich to claim the goods. The police station is at 3 Main Street, telephone 426-5841.
