Police Seek Owners Of Found Items

The police station is the local repository for “found items” that people turn over to police for safekeeping.

Items currently in storage, starting with the most recently found goods, include: a Chrysler automobile key with a keypad attached; a pair of woman’s sunglasses; a Boss-brand audio equalizer; a wall-mount lighting fixture; a baseball bat with the name “Jack W”; a cordless telephone; two camping tents; a pair of sunglasses; a woman’s Seiko-brand watch; a toolbox; a bracelet; a set of keys with a small harmonica attached; a woman’s Armitron-brand watch; a pair of metal-frame eyeglasses; a small ladder; and a man’s watch.

Police hold found goods for a specified time, after which they are discarded or given away. The owners of the found items should contact Patrol Sergeant Darlene Froehlich to claim the goods. The police station is at 3 Main Street, telephone 426-5841.
