Seminar On Cancer Treatment Fatigue Offered

NEW MILFORD — The New Milford Hospital Social Work Department will host a seminar on “Fatigue During Cancer Treatment” for patients and families Thursday, May 27, at 11:30 am, in the hospital’s Robison Conference Rooms. The guest speaker is Susan DiStasio, APRN, an oncology nurse practitioner.

New Milford Hospital’s Regional Cancer Center is “Approved with Commendation” by the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer, and accredited in radiation oncology by the American College of Radiology. The center offers extensive resources for patients and their families through a multidisciplinary cancer team for screening and prevention, diagnosis, treatment, education, and support. The center maintains an active clinical trials/research program, a state-of-the-art Women’s Imaging Center, and comprehensive Breast Care Program with breast health navigator services.
