BOTSFORD DRIVE-IN 7, KEY REALTY 5: With Key Realty ahead 5-3, Botsford rallied to score four runs and hold on for the win. Joe Gantert led the Botsford attack with a two-run single in the first inning and a three-run double in the fifth inning that put his team ahead. Ryan Chapin and Greg Britton each had a hit and two runs scored. Tyler Hull and Gantert both pitched a solid two innings. For Key, Anthony Perez had a pair of doubles and two RBI while Jake Elias singled and doubled to drive in a run. Perez also pitched great, whiffing seven batters over three innings of work.

BOTSFORD_DRIVE-IN 12, EMMETT &_GLANDER 5:_Jimmy Dietter went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and Ryan Chapin belted a three-run triple to lead a seven-run Botsford rally and the win. Chapin singled, walked and scored twice with three stolen bases in the game. Joey_Sgammato, Tyler Hull, Dan McIlrath, Pat Coakley and Joe Gantert each contributed hits and RBI. Gantert closed out the game, striking out seven over three innings of work. For E&G, Forest Robertson singled and doubled, driving in two runs. Mike Nezinger tripled and scored a run.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

BERLINER-GELFANI 14, NEWTOWN CAR WASH 9: Croy Carlin, Jim Wilkins and Brad Tanner led the hitting attack for Berliner while Alex Hennessey and Nathaniel Bausch-Gould played solid defense. David Villareal threw out a runner at home. For the Car Wash, Marc Dolerty was 3-for-3 and also pitched well in a losing effort. Ricky Andrews pitched well, too, while Sean Gerety and Zachary Kapple played fine defense.

BERLINER-GELFANI 10, CLEARHART CONSTRUCTION 5: Mike Ferraro went 2-for-2, Daniel Murdoch tripled and Bob Griesse hit the ball hard to lead Berliner-Gelfani to the win. David Berliner played six solid innings behind the plate and Croy Carlin was solid at defense on the mount and at second. The Berliner players dedicated the game to teammate Brad Tanner and his family. For Clearhart, Chris Gindraux powered the offense while Nick Szabo led the defense at second and Jonathan Hartlett pitched well.

BRAUTIGAM LAND SURVEYORS 22, LEXINGTON GARDENS 13: Kevin Regan belted a homer and drove in seven runs and Mike Miller added a homer of his own to power Brautigam to the victory. Jeremy Currier and Stefan Poulin were strong in the field and Sean Myslewski pitched well. For Lexington, Nick Pollard doubled and drove in three runs as Tony Gallucci tripled and pitched well. Pat Daly also pitched well while George Martens and Jeff Peterson were solid in the field.

BRAUTIGAM LAND SURVEYORS 9, ATTORNEY NATALIA KERLER 5: Jeremy Currier went 2-for-2 and Stefan Poulin doubled in a pair of runs to power the Brautigam offense in the win. Robert DeFilippe, Morgan Miller and Chris Tomascak played great defense. Mike Miller and Poulin pitched well. For Natalia Kerler, Colin Cieniawa, Jim Leebaert and Scudder Baggett each singled. Emil Walston had an assist from centerfield and Leebaert, Baggett and Nick Smith shared the pitching duties.

BERLINER-GELFANI 8, CLEARHART CONSTRUCTION 1: Croy Carlin and David Villareal combined on a one-hitter, walking five batters and striking out 10 to lead Berliner to the win. Jim Wilkins amchored the defense with a great catch that led to a double play. Nathaniel Bausch-Gould and David Berliner had key hits while Bob Griesse and Ken Cardell had strong plate appearances. For Clearhart, Jonathan Hartlett pitched well and had a solid hit. Zach Leighton was tremendous on defense at second and Chris Gindraux had a fine game.

ATTORNEY_NATALIA_KERLER 4, NEWTOWN_CAR_WASH_3:_Chris Giorno went 3-for-3 with a pair of singles, a triple, and the game-winning RBI to lead Natalia Kerler. Austin_Heil ripped a singled while Colin Cieniawa, Scudder Baggett and Nick_Smith combined on the mound for 11 strikeouts. Jim_Leebaert, Giorno and Sean O’Connell played tight defense. For the Car Wash, Michael_Parilla tripled and Marc Doherty pitched well, striking out nine batters. Zach Kapple made a great throw from behind the play to gun down a runner at second base.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

UNION SAVINGS 8, FIRESIDE INN 4: Thomas Hutchison and Max Rojo drove in two runs each and Mike Hennessey pitched two shutout innings to lead Union Savings to the win. Hutchison broke open a 4-4 game with a hit in the fifth inning. For Fireside, Ryan Martin and Roy Schuenemann had key hits while Bruan Shimko was solid at shortstop and Mike Tibbetts pitched well.

A&D SPORTS 7, OCON 4: Stephen Kean pitched four strong innings and Andrew Chimileski caught a great game to lead A&D to the win. Liam Cawley, Aron Fay and Jesse Furphy had key hits. For OCON, Alex Dolan pitched well for five innings with Pete Oggeri solid behind the plate. Stephen Neylon, Shaun Coakley and Craig Byers all had big hits.

A&D SPORTS 2, GRAHAM PAINTING 1: A tight pitcher’s duel was won by A&D Sports. Alex Meisel pitched five good innings with Joe Bowen coming on in relief. With two outs and nobody on and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Aron Fay, Meisel and Bowen put three hits together to scored the winning run. For Graham, Matt Berquist hit the ball hard twice and JP McDade laid down a perfect hunt to lead off the sixth. On defense, John Graham made two fine throws in the infield and Ryan McGrath threw a 190-foot strike from centerfield to prevent a run from scoring.

AAA

DRUG CENTER 16, WALKER INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS 7: Francis Oggeri’s clutch hitting and Justin Lemma’s four-RBI game paced Drug Center to the win. Jeff Davis stroked a home run in an 11-run fifth inning. Nick Urso and Bob Lapple spearhead a strong defensive effort. For Walker, Andrew Kirnir, Chuck Brooks and Ryan Boucher led the offensive attack as Boucher also pitched well, tossing two scoreless innings.

WALKER INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS 14, AUTOMATED SECURITY SYSTEMS 12: Chris Leibold scored two runs while Sean Ryan, Ryan Boucher and James Post banged out two hits apiece to lead Walker to the win. Andrew Kirnir, Eric Dreher, Chuck Brooks, Fran Boucher and Ryan Boucher all shared the pitched duties and Walter Murphy was outstanding behind the plate. For Automated Security, James O’Connor scored two runs and Ken Picerno hit the ball hard. David Rodriquez starred in the field and Danny Smith pitched a pair of strong innings.

MINORS

ASSOCIATED SECURITY 13, WILLIAM PITT REAL ESTATE 3: Ryan Clark doubled and tripled and Chris Potter tripled to lead Associated Security to a big win. Bobby Davenport and Kris Kling played strong defense. For William Pitt, Chris Basso and Chris Parker each went 2-for-2 with a single and a double.

ASSOCIATED SECURITY 12, DRUG CENTER 2: Danny Smith went 3-for-4 with a home run and Ryan Clark went 2-for-2 as Associated Security swamped Drug Center. Steve Sapienza and Chris Meier made solid contributions in the field. For Drug Center, Bob Lapple and P.A. Cochrane led the offense as Jeff Davis and Cody Cullens anchored the defense.

ASSOCIATED SECURITY 8, WELL FLEET FINANCIAL 3: Ken Picerno went 2-for-2 with four RBI to lead Associated Security to another win. James O’Connor went 1-for-2 with an RBI as Jason Smith and David Rodriquez played well in the field. For Well Fleet, Andrew Degenhardt and Jacob Berg each hit the ball hard.

CONEHEADS 12, CONNECTICUT PAIN CARE 11: Martin Berlioux was 4-for-4 and Cameron Gehrman was 3-for-3 to power the Coneheads’ offense in the win. Nick Wilson and Tyler Davenport made strong plays in the field. For Pain Care, Kevin Leibold and Ben Miles has impressive games.

SUGAR HILL AUTO BODY 5, NEWTOWN BEE 2: Ryan Diluoffo, David Bray and Ricky Camejo led the Sugar Hill offense as Andrew Meisel had an unassisted double play to lead the defense and end the game. For the Bee, Josh Barron, CJ Detrick, Kevin Walsh and Andrew Rothenberg all played well.

TAUNTON PRESS 7, DENTAL ASSOCIATES 1: Maxwell Muraskiewicz singled, tripled and homered to lead Taunton Press to the win. Keith Hoffman and Garrett Uhde each banged out a pair of hits while John Savarese played solid defense at second base. For Dental Associates, Betsy Vendel drove in the lone run as Pete Wlasuk knocked out a pair of hits. Brian Murpjy pitched well and Kevin Bonacci made a nice catch in the outfield.

B&K SEPTIC 14, DHCA 9: Robbie Blanc, Dan Tibolla, Alex Kron and Shane Price all led B&K in the win. Kevin McCarthy, Dylan Huebner, Ryan Ames and Zachary Faurote paced DHCA.

NEWTOWN BEE 7, DENTAL ASSOCIATES 3: Mike Lago, David Hutchison, Jamie Walsh and CJ Detrick powered the Bee to a victory. Mike McCarthy, Kyle Griesse, Brian Carol and Betsy Vendel led Dental Associates.

BASE TECHNOLOGIES 6, NICK’S RESTAURANT 4: Patrick Stein and Mike Notaro had two hits apiece and combined for three RBI to lead BASE to the win. Laura Newberry and Nathan Barrett both had good games. For Nick’s, Joe Capiello went 2-for-2 with a pair of runs scored and one RBU. Dylan banged out a pair of hits while Ben Stokes and Matt Narel were strong in the field.

ASSOCIATED REFUSE 13, CONNECTICUT EQUINE 12: Connor McNamara had a pair of key hits and Joe Fidak drove in the game-winning run to lead Associated Refuse. Dana Hanson and Thomas Budd had key defensive plays. For Equine, Andy Lapple scored three runs, Andrew LaMarche banged out three hits, and Kyle Kronberg and Nathan Crevier played well.

DR HENRY GELLERT 14, RIVER CONE ICE CREAM SHOP 10: Thomas Faeth, Keith McGrath, Matt Slattery and Joey Christiano III led Dr Gellert to the win while Kyle Kimball, Jeffrey DiNicola, Nick Wilson and John Sapienza paced River Cone.

SUGAR HILL AUTO BODY 7, AUTOMATED SECURITY 4: Justin Craparo, Kenny McCabe and Rob O’Donnell led the Sugar Hill offense in a win over Automated. Tommy Merrifield and Andrew Meisel shined in the field. For Automated, John Aminti, Christopher Murphy, Paul Murphy and Michael Gabor all played well.

SUGAR HILL AUTO BODY 11, DENTAL ASSOCIATES 8: David Bray tripled in the fourth inning, starting a three-run rally and leading Sugar Hill to another win. Ryan Diluoffo, Kenny McCabe and Ryan Burch all powered the offense as RJ Swift was strong in the field. For Dental Associates, Kyle Griesse and Brian Murphy made great defensive plays as Conor Kovatch and Dave Klanica hit the ball hard.

NICK’S RESTAURANT 7, TAUNTON PRESS 3: Jason Kostecki went 3-for-3 with two RBI, a run scored, and one stolen base to lead Nick’s to the win. Dakota Law had a pair of hits while Michael Locorotondo had a great defensive game in leftfield. Michell Blomberg pitched well, striking out two batters and making a diving catch to end the game. For Taunton Press, Ralph Sergiovanni and Garrett Uhde had two hits apiece as Keith Hoffman and David Kopyscinski were strong in the field.

MIDGETS

SUBWAY versus TROY SECURITY: Tim Brown, Clayton Makuch, Justina Paroski and Ryan Cassidy led Subway while Ryan Dunnigan, Abbi Keough, Thomas Duluoffo and Cullen Merrifield paced Troy.

THE NATURAL LOOK versus PIZZA PALACE: Jackie Kissack (three hits), Dakota Christiano (three hits), Meagan Larson and Ian Kirner played well for The Natural Look as Dan Aurelin (three hits), Greg Williamson, Daniel Snyder and Corey Fisher led Pizza Palace.

ASSOCIATED REFUSE versus NEWTOWN FARM & GARDEN: Anthony Maki, Greg Frattaroli, and Jim Mooney powered Associated Refuse while Erin Brown, Timothy Wilder, Ryan Crowell and Arthur Fredericks led Newtown Farm & Garden.

CARMINUCCIO’S versus BLINDS GUYS: Sean Connolly, Brian Leher, Connor Blanc and Nora Murphy all had good games for Carminuccio’s while Colin Cooper, Taylor Demirgian (4-for-4), Austin Cornell and Scott Runkle III paced the Blinds Guys.

FAMILY HEALTH CARE CENTER versus TENDSETTERS INTERNATIONAL: Lewis Ahern, Andrew Bouton, Richard Andreotta, Sean LaPak, Eric Hoffman and Josh Engler led Family Health while Mikey Herring, Theo Hartlett, Brendan Delohery and Kyle Vignone powered Trendsetters.

NEWTOWN INSURANCE versus CONNECTICUT FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC: Lewis Thompson (with a home run), Martin Kappanf, Christian Gregoire and Dave Kreshpan anchored Newtown Insurance as Grant Braun, Ari Rosen, Dabby Sclafani and Denton Jochums paced Chiropractic.

WENTWORTH LABS versus TRENDSETTERS INTERNATIONAL: John Walsuk belted a pair of home runs and Trye Vacovsky hit the ball hard for Wentworth. James Truckle and Kyle Packer played well in the field. For Trendsetters, Kyle Vignone, John Fellin, Andrew Mulhivill and Colton Boyd paced Trendsetters.
