Union Savings 9, Newtown Insurance 4 â Megan Condon scored a pair of runs and made an outstanding defensive play to lead Union Savings. Nikki Elias pitched well and Emily Rowe went 2-for-3 with three RBI. For Newtown Insurance, Ava Rojo and Katie Lago made several key plays in the field while Elizabeth Anderson, Nicole Scalora and Stephanie Sanchez hit the ball hard.
Burton Builders 11, Dr Henry Gellert 6 â Kelly Burton pitched a pair of scoreless innings and combined with Megan DâArola to limit Dr Gellert to two hits. Tara Hiteshew, Taylor Johnson and Brooke Fell powered the offense. For Dr Gellert, Megan Murphy drove in a couple runs while Katie Cochrane played well in the field and Hannah Basch-Gould rapped out a hit.

Taunton Press 11, The Quiet Company 4 â Melissa Fracker allowed just one hit as Taunton Press earned the win. Stacy Broughton drove in three runs with a single and a double while Megan Brayton anchored the defense. Nicole Alberico played well. For The Quiet Company, Monica Samuelson pitched four strong innings as Dayna Djonn made a great unassisted double play at second base to spark the defense. Sarah Cioffoletti and Nora Lynn Shimko played well.
Rushefski Consulting 9, Taunton Press 3 â Kate Bowen and Katie Kirrane combined on the mound for the win with Bowen also going 2-for-2 at the plate. Katie Schmidt had a hit and Sarah Pollock made a fine catch in the field. For Taunton, Maxx Zimmer doubled in a couple of runs and Marley Koschel went 2-for-3. Kaila Harrington singled and had two unassisted outs at first base.
JP Maguire 13, Clearhart Construction 12 â JP Maguire scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to win. Amanda rock turned a double play to spark JP while Kaity Freeman, Theresa Viesto and Meghan Porcelli played well. For Clearhart, Meaghan Dawly and Sonia Brand-Fisher hit the ball hard while Alli Rambone played well in the field.
Clearhart Construction 25, Drug Center 24 â Sonia Brand-Fisher and Meaghan Dawley hit the ball well to lead Clearhart to the win. For Drug Center, Marnie Thompson did a fine job on defense behind the plate, as did Kayla Rusuci. Sarah Steiner hit the ball well.
