Container Gardening At Jekyll Garden

WOODBURY — The Glebe House Museum and Gertrude Jekyll Garden will offer its popular Container Gardening Workshop on Thursday, May 21, at 5:30 pm, in the Gertrude Jekyll Garden, 49 Hollow Road.

Jane Brook Barba, a garden designer and instructor at the New York Botanical Garden will instruct the class in a hands-on program. Bring garden gloves and be prepared to learn firsthand the correct methods of planting in containers, which plants work best together, and what the newest and most exciting plants for your Connecticut containers are.

Cost for the program, which includes wine and cheese served in the garden and plants to take home, is $22 ($20 for museum members).
