Lois Helen Betts Salese

Lois Helen Betts Salese, 87, of Danbury, died Friday at home. She was the widow of Henry James Salese.

Mrs Salese is survived by two daughters, Bonnie E. DeLorenzo of Newtown and Sheryll A. Salese of Danbury; and three grandsons, Michael Salese, and Andrew and Derek DeLorenzo. In addition to her husband, a son, James L. Salese, predeceased her.

Mrs Salese was born in Danbury June 13, 1916, a daughter of the late Leroy and Gladys Shove Betts. She was a lifelong Danbury resident and was a graduate of Danbury High School and the Danbury Hospital School of Nursing in 1937. She was a member of AARP and the Danbury Hospital Nurse’s Alumni Association.

Services and interment are private. There are no calling hours. Hull Funeral Service, 60 Division Street, Danbury, is handling arrangements.
