Welcomes New Agents

William Pitt Real Estate has announced that Karen Michel and Heather Rodriguez have  joined the Newtown office as sales associates.

Karen Michel brings extensive experience to her profession and has recently completed William Pitt’s “State of the Art,” a comprehensive training program focusing on the art of superior service. William Pitt provides hands-on support and ongoing professional education opportunities for all its associates.

Ms Michel is retired from nearly 30 years in education. She served the New York City Board of Education as teacher, school psychologist, and educational administrator for the Division of Special Education. Ms Michel received her bachelor of arts in psychology from Hawthorne College and from the College of New Rochelle, a master of arts in reading, master of arts in school and community psychology, and a master of arts in administration and supervision.

The Michels moved to Newtown from Armonk, N.Y., with their son. Ms Michel is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Connecticut Association of Realtors, and the Newtown Board of Realtors.

Heather Rodriguez also has joined the Newtown office of William Pitt Real Estate as a sales associate. Before entering real estate Ms Rodriguez worked as a media planner in advertising at Ogilvy & Mather and RL&I Advertising in Stamford. She has recently completed William Pitt’s “State of the Art,” a comprehensive training program focusing on the art of superior service. William Pitt provides hands-on support and on-going professional education opportunities for all its associates. Ms Rodriguez earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Iona College magna cum laude.

Ms Rodriguez is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Connecticut Association of Realtors, and the Newtown Board of Realtors.

A five-year resident of Newtown, Ms Rodriguez participates in community activities such as the St Rose Church parish nurse ministry and meals committee, the Family Counseling Center, and is a previous member of the Greenwich Junior League. When not working, Ms Rodriguez enjoys time with her husband and two daughters as well as running, reading, and gardening.
