Christmas Town Festival To Feature The Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden

BETHLEHEM — Celebrate with the family this holiday season, as Connecticut Landmarks’ Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden will be festively decorated for tours and holiday cheer.

Part of the Bethlehem Christmas Town Festival, the house will be open on Friday, December 2, from 5 to 9 pm, and Saturday, December 3, from 10 am to 4 pm, and will feature special displays focused on Christmas 1958 and music as it related to Ferriday and Bellamy lives and eras. Guides will be available both days to share brief histories of the property’s two former owners, the Reverend Joseph Bellamy (1719-1790) and Miss Caroline Woolsey Ferriday (1902-1990).

This family-friendly program offers a Can You Find Scavenger Hunt for kids with a small prize. Hot cider will be available in the Visitor Center, where gift shop items will be available for purchase. Admission is free with a suggested $3 donation and/or a donation to the Bethlehem Food Bank.

The Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden is at 9 Main Street in Bethlehem. The museum is currently closed for its regular tour season; it will reopen in May.
