Ann Ornowski

Ann (Pazda) Ornowski of Danbury, devoted wife of Theodore Ornowski, died at the Danbury Hospital on September 6 at the age of 79. She was born in Old Greenwich, daughter of the late Andrew and Caroline (Marud) Pazda.

Mrs Ornowski worked as an assembler for ElectroLux in Greenwich for 15 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed bowling and dancing.

Besides her loving husband, Theodore, of 44 years, she will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Nancy Miller and her husband, Timothy, of Sandy Hook, Susan Vasaturo and her husband, Joseph, of Danbury, Mary Lee Ornowski and her fiancé, James Hinckley, of Danbury; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 12, at 10 am, at St Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. Calling hours were scheduled at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, September 11, between the 5 and 7 pm.
