Christmas Cafe

WOODBURY — The United Methodist Church, 3 Church Street in Woodbury, will host its annual Christmas Café from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, December 1.

The Fellowship Hall will be transformed into a Christmas Café, as the women and youth of the church serve up ham and broccoli quiche, chicken salad sandwich, soup (New England clam chowder and vegetable beef will be the choices), and salad. All food, including the dessert selections of apple crisp or carrot cake, is made fresh.

The menu is a la carte with quiche or sandwich for $4. A children’s menu for $4 includes peanut butter and jelly sandwich, chips and beverage. Monster cookies will also be available for $1.

Lunch will begin being served at 11 am.

Other activities throughout the church will include its annual bake sale starting at 10 am, and a craft fair starting at 9 am. Crafts will include hand painted canvas bags, handmade jewelry, dried floral arrangements, American Doll clothing. Also, Sally the Face Painter will be back.

Live Christmas music will be performed throughout the afternoon to help set the holiday mood.
