An Important

Responsibility

To the Editor:

The education of our young people is a very important responsibility.

Part of that education is teaching fiscal responsibility and the ability to have empathy for those people having a difficult time during an economic downturn. When times are tough, you should rein in spending on big projects until the economy improves.

Newtown has many empathetic and generous young people as we often read in The Newtown Bee. We adults can learn from their example and teach those who may not be there yet.
