Word Around Town: An Evening Of Original Poetry, Times Two

RIDGEFIELD — Ridgefield Theater Barn will present “Word Around Town: An Evening of Original Poetry” on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 12-13, at 7:30 pm.

Directed by Patti Azzara and produced by Marla Manning, this popular event has become a creative mainstay on the Barn calendar because of the refreshing contributions of original verse from the minds of local wordsmiths.  Each Word Around Town event, though similar in format and style, is re-imagined by director Patti Azzara, based on the participants and the themes that emerge.

Ms Azzara, a poet herself, hopes this evening of freeform and prose will continue to encourage self-expression through the poetic arts, while also promoting local artists and their craft. 

All tickets are $7, seating is theater style and light refreshments will be served. Doors will open at 7.
