Unexpected Gifts

To the Editor:

A big thank-you to the Newtown and Sandy Hook scout troops (and their leaders) for the many cards, favors, and placemats which they have made and donated to Newtown Meals on Wheels throughout the year. These unexpected gifts are delivered to our recipients with their meal and bring a ray of sunshine into their day. It is so very important to these shut-ins to know they are remembered!

Such thoughtful and caring gestures keep Newtown Meals on Wheels rolling along.
