Irmgard E. Fuchs

Longtime Hawleyville Resident

Irmgrad “Inga” E. Fuchs, 69, beloved wife of Frank Joseph Fuchs of the Hawleyville section of Newtown, died April 7 in Bethel Health Care Center. Mrs Fuchs was born in Germany, on September 6, 1938, a daughter of Franz and Irma Hibbeler.

Mrs Fuchs was a resident of Newtown for the last 30 years and was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Thomas W. Fuchs of New Fairfield.

Funeral services were held April 10 in Christ the King Lutheran Church, Newtown, with the Rev Gregory Wismar, pastor officiating. Interment followed in Prince of Peace Cemetery, Brookfield.

Arrangements were by the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
