WOODBURY — New Morning Natural & Organic will host its annual wine and cheese event on Thursday, November 5.

Running from 6 to 9 pm, this year’s event will be a benefit for the restoration of the Old Woodbury Town Hall. Proceeds from the silent auction of fabulous local goods and services and a suggested donation of $10 will go to the Town Hall Fund.

Woodbury’s Walker Road, Hopkins of Roxbury, and Sunset Meadow of Goshen will be the featured vineyards, offering special vintages and flavors just in time for the 2009 holiday season.

There will also be a bountiful array of holiday specialties, from the crusty, hearth-baked breads of Bantam Bread Company to the tender, fresh roasted turkey, lovingly prepared by Chef Carol’s team at New Morning’s Provender. Guests will also be invited to savor hot, gourmet, organic and Fair Trade beverages by Coffee-Tea- Etc of Goshen, sample artisanal cheese from Twin Maple Farm in Ghent, N.Y.; Berkshire Blue from Lennox, Mass.; and Old Chatham Sheepherding Company, from Hudson Valley, N.Y., among others.
