Kindergarten Birthdays

And School Work

By Kaitlin Eckert

and Rachel Buthe

Would you like to know what your kindergartner is doing in class? Well you are about to find out.

Megan O’Connell of Mrs Pirone’s am class and Dieter Gutbrod of Mrs Pirone’s pm class celebrated their birthdays last week.

They are learning their letters and are already up to “U.” They are also learning about capitals and punctuation marks such as periods.

In their think journals they are to draw a picture and write about what they drew.

In computer lab they do “Kidpix” a lot. Amber Bicknc of Mrs Buska’s pm class said, “I like ‘Kidpix’ because you get to fool around.”

Emma Sabin said, “I like to draw and paint on ‘Kidpix.’”

Their Marble Jars are not full yet but they’re working on it.

Keep up the nice work guys.

In 1990, after 37 years of service, Crayola products’ most senior crayon maker, Emerson Moser, retired after molding a record 1.4 billion crayons. Only then did he reveal a well-kept secret: Mr Moser was color blind!
