To the Editor:Grandma at Edmond Town Hall recently. Although I do not attend the movie every week, I appreciate that there are a wide variety of movies that are shown.Grandma is a difficult one, it is a current situation in this day and age.ÃÂ If it had offended me - I would have walked out. I also believe that the residents of our town come from all walks of life and appreciate viewing all different types of movies. And I am thankful for having the ability to see these movies in a beautiful movie theater that is located in our own town at an extraordinary price instead of giving my $13 (or whatever the going rate is) to a large chain.A Family-Friendly Movie?" Although most do think of Edmond Town Hall as a "family friendly" theater, we have had many movies shown there that have an R rating. To my way of thinking, seeing the R rating means that it is a movie for adults and is not appropriate for the whole family (if you have young children). I appreciate that the theater posts a brief description of the subject matter of the movie. It helps me make a decision as to whether I wish to view that particular movie or not.
