Beloved Husband
David B. Jones, 65, of Sandy Hook, died at his home, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. He was born June 22, 1945, in Detroit, a son of Elizabeth and Alan Jones.
He was the husband of Eveline Jones. His brother Dale, of Atlanta, also survives him.
Mr Jones graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in chemical engineering. He was employed by Union Carbide Corporation for more than 30 years, and held a variety of positions.
He had a passion for golf and devoted many hours fine-tuning his game at Heritage Village Country Club. He also enjoyed Michigan football, but most of all, spending time with his wife.
Mr Jones will be terribly missed by his wife, brother, family, and friends.
A memorial gathering of friends and family will take place at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main Street, Danbury, Tuesday, June 14, from 11 to 1 pm.
