After-School Farm Education

WOODBURY — A comprehensive four-week session, running Thursdays, September 27, through October 18, is being offered by Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust for students. Each class offers several topics, including scarecrows, animal games, harvesting and more.

Each lesson presents a different theme that includes several fun environmental experiments, and all students will receive take-home projects from the day’s class.

Class times are Thursdays from 3:30 to 5 pm. Fees for the course are $60 for members and $75 for non-members. The fee includes craft materials and handouts. Call 203-263-3711 to register or for additional information.
