Naming The Stadium . . .

 

Newtown High School is forming a new committee which will tackle the issue of renaming the football stadium (formerly named in honor of Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner). Anyone interested in presenting an idea should first submit a letter (due no later than February 20) to Gregg Simon, NHS athletic director, containing a brief explanation of the idea. People will then be notified of a date and time when they will be able to offer a 10 to 15 minute presentation in support of that idea.
