25th Annual Strawberry Festival

SOUTHBURY — For the 25th year, strawberry lovers of all ages will celebrate the arrival of summer with a traditional New England Strawberry Festival on the green of the United Church of Christ. This year’s event will be on Saturday, June 17, from noon to 3 pm, rain or shine.

Songwriter Pierce Campbell will perform from noon to 3 pm. Dimples the Clown will entertain children from 12:30 to 1:30, and UCC’s Strawberry Man will also be on hand for the occasion.

Southbury Ambulance volunteers will conduct free blood pressure screenings. Homemade baked goods and used books will be on sale. Organized children’s activities and face painting will be conducted by area volunteers.

The church and green are on Main Street North, one-half mile north of Exit 15 off Interstate 84.
