Free Prenatal Lecture Series

DANBURY — The Danbury Hospital Family Birth Center will present a series of free lectures addressing “The Journey to Parenthood” starting Monday,  April 16.

The programs will take place Mondays through May 21 from 7 to 9 pm in the John C. Creasy Center for Health Education auditorium. Parking is free in the Blue visitor’s parking area, Hospital Avenue entrance.

The lectures are designed to provide couples with the most updated and current information from pre-pregnancy planning to postpartum care. Dates and topics for discussion include the following:

“Pre-Pregnancy Planning: What Every Couple Should Know,” on April 16. Labor support for the birthing woman/family, April 23; “Managing the Complicated Pregnancy and Birth,” April 30; “Feeding Your Baby: Making Informed Decisions,” May 7; “Infant Care and Safety: From Choosing a Pediatrician to Choosing a Car Seat,” May 14; “Postpartum: What’s Normal, What’s Not,” May 21.
