Fall Ball Highlights

Results from recent 9-year-old fall baseball games:

Olson 10, Dowd 0: Ethan Aug pitched and hit well to lead Olson’s while Avi Bhaya played superb defense.

Principi 5, Nasty’s 1: Pete Debona tripled and pitched well and Matt Principi shined in the field for Principi, and Ben Terry hit well and Nathan Malota had an outfield assist for the Nasty

Force 7, Tigers 5: Sam Grossano nailed down the save with three strikeouts for the Force. Bradley Wiseman had two hits for the Tigers.

Olson 6, Principi 1: Colby Olson hit a booming two-run triple to lead Olson’s.

Nasty 7, Tigers 3: Fall league player of the week Adam Bergeron tripled and struck out six consecutive batters for Nasty’s. Jamie Davis led the offensive effort for the Tigers.

Force 9, Dowd 4: Thomas Skrelja hit a booming double and Dylan Champagne worked out of a jam in the last inning to secure another victory for the Force.

O’Brien 14, Hebner 10: Kevin Barrett hit a walk off grand slam and Joe Venezia starred in the field as the O’Brien won a dramatic Labor Day contest. Chris O’Brien, a home run derby champion, pitched well for the victory. Scott Hebner also pitched well but took the loss.
