Patrick, an eighth-grader participated in the Future Stars Presidents’ Day Clinic, run by former NBA player Frank Oleynick, at Newtown Youth Academy.

Favorite part of the clinic: “The instruction, and the intensity and the action.”

Toughest aspect of playing basketball: The amount of practice required and bouncing back from the disappointment of losing.

When he’s not on the court: He’s on the course, playing golf.

Team he roots for: Oklahoma City Thunder.
