Community Welcome To Attend Destination Newtown

The Chamber of Commerce invites the greater Newtown community to the sixth annual Destination Newtown on Tuesday, November 10, from 4 to 7 pm at the Newtown Congregational Church at 14 West Street.

Destination Newtown is a great opportunity for the community to meet local business owners and learn about the products and services that are locally available.

Themed “Passion for Business: Spearheading Growth in Newtown,” the event is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Newtown and sponsored by Newtown Savings Bank.  There is no charge to attend this event.

The event’s Taste of Newtown will feature food samples from 11 local restaurants: My Place Restaurant, Tambascio’s, Blue Colony Diner, Chao Chao, Double Eagle Deli, The Villa, Sal e Pepe, Carminuccio’s, Katherine’s Kitchen, Mona Lisa, and Franco’s Pizza. 

Along with featuring participating businesses, the souvenir program book will include interesting facts about Newtown and trivia questions, along with information on how to win a Taste of Newtown sampler plate. 

Additional highlights will include raffles, entertainment from members of the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission, tours of the Amazing Fun Bus, and Newtown VNA volunteers are scheduled to be on hand with healthy tips and information.
