Botanical Art At Highstead

Highstead Arboretum is presenting an exhibition of botanical artwork by members of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. “Botanical Art: Paintings and Drawings of Plants and their Fruits” is on view through June 30. Twenty-two artists are represented in this year’s show, which focuses on plants and their fruit, with many pieces available for purchase. “Sweetgum,” a watercolor and pencil work by Redenta Soprano, is seen here. The exhibit is open by appointment. Arrangements for viewing the show or reservations for the demonstration may be made by calling the arboretum during business hours: Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
