Donald A. Wagner
Donald A. Wagner, 76, of Sandy Hook, and formerly of Milford and Monroe, died May 3, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Derby, December 15, 1936, he was the son of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Thornhill Wagner. He was the beloved husband for nearly 50 years of the late Barbara M. Shackleton Wagner.
A US Army veteran, Mr Wagner had a long, proud history of working his family’s Wagner Christmas tree farm in Trumbull. Survivors include his children, Laurie L. DiNallo and her husband, Michael, and Mark Wagner, all of Sandy Hook; four beloved grandchildren, Connor, Emma, Noah, and Joshua DiNallo; and a brother-in-law, Peter Wilson of Fairfield. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
