WALLINGFORD — The Polio Outreach of Connecticut and Gaylord Hospital is holding a seminar on post polio syndrome on December 4 from 12:30 to 4 pm at the Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford.

Dr Julie Silver, a physiatrist and medical director of Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Framingham, Mass. will be the guest speaker.  An expert of post polio syndrome and teacher at Harvard Medical School, she will discuss the topic of her new book, Preventing Further Disabilities in Polio Survivors.

A Gaylord Hospital staff nutritionist will speak on “Nutrition for Health Maintenance.”  There is no charge for this seminar but seating is limited.  For information or reservations call CT Polio Outreach, Mick Pierce, 860/349-2135.
