Discount Cards Benefit NHS Orchestra

Newtown High School’s Orchestra program is selling $10 discount cards that can be used at a number of area businesses, including Franco’s, Newtown Deli, El Coyote, Subway of Sandy Hook, Southbury Printing Centre, South Main Deli, Andrea’s Pastry Shop, Dunkin’ Donuts, Robert Anthony’s Hair Salon, Newtown Color Center, J&L Movie Corner, Sullivan’s Jewelers, Berkshire Motors, Bagel Delight, Newtown Florist, A Toy Tree, Payless Shoe Store, and A Silver Lining.

Cards are available for purchase from orchestra students as well as at the Newtown Drug Center and South Main Deli.

The proceeds will help offset the costs of the orchestra’s upcoming performance at Carnegie Hall on March 23. Any remaining profits will benefit the NHS Orchestra Scholarship Fund.
