Quinten D. LaChapelle

Quinten Dean LaChapelle, 81, of St Clair Shores, Mich., died suddenly at home on February 13.

He was the father of Timothy LaChapelle of Sandy Hook.

Born in Green Bay, Wis., June 20, 1918, he was the son of the late Eli and Virginia LaChapelle. As a child he moved with his family to Detroit, Mich. After serving in the Army during World War II, Mr LaChapelle was employed by Uniroyal. He retired in 1972.

He is also survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris LaChapelle; a daughter, Suzanne Thomas of Canton, Mich.; and three grandchildren, Quinten J., Nicole and Jacquelyn LaChapelle of Sandy Hook. He is also survived by two sisters, Ruth English of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Audrey Henry of Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.

A memorial service was held February 20 at the Peters Funeral Home, Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.
