Trump Unshackled - Loose Cannon On The Ship Of State
By Polly Brody

The GOP is tearing at its own entrails; the consequence of moderate Republicans having allowed the so-called base to gain ascendancy and now bully and dominate the party, which once was grand.
As a past, but no longer registered, Republican, I have watched a once-respectable party come apart at the seams, while continuing its obstinate refusal to participate in bipartisan governance. This polarization predated Obama, first rearing its ugly head during Bill Clinton's administration. Yes, he committed grave personal errors in behavior and was impeached because of them. However, President Obama has been guilty of nothing of this sort; instead the long knives were out for him because he is black.
Trump is the barking mouth of the portion of our society which feels dispossessed and wrathful. This "base" does not discern nor seem to care that beyond "venting" for it; he offers no real, attainable agendas nor workable policies for this nation.
