YMCA Offering Sports And Specialty Camps

The Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut is offering a variety of specialty camps this summer. All camps have an extended day option available except where noted.

At the Greenknoll Day Camp, 2 Huckleberry Hill Road in Brookfield, offerings include:

*Rocket building, fourth–eighth grade, August 4–8 and August 11–15, 9 am to noon;

*Art, first–third grade, July 14–18, 9 am to noon; Art for fourth–fifth grade, July 21–25, 9 am to noon;

*Theater, fourth–sixth grade; July 28–August 1, 9 am to noon;

*Basketball, fourth–eighth grade, July 7–11 and July 14–18, 9 am to noon.

At the YMCA Children’s Center, 57 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel, offerings include:

*Dance for ages 7–12, June 23–27, 9 am to 4 pm;

*Arts and Crafts for ages 7–12, July 7–11, 9 am to 4 pm

*Theater for ages 7–12, August 11–15, 9 am to 4 pm; and

*Cooking for ages 8–12, July 14–18, 9 am – noon (no extended care available).
