The Real Problem?
To the Editor:
Re: the article "Newtown Group Reaching Out To The Undocumented" In the 12/15/17 issue.
Why do we not talk about the real problem that individuals have when they are following the laws to become American citizens the legal way?
These people have to jump through the legal hoops for seven-plus years, spend thousands of dollars to attorneys, and then have to go sometimes out of the US to get their visas restamped due to the long wait.
Talk about unfair; wonder what they think after they read this article?
Too bad they are going about it the legal way; unlike others looking for amnesty, or a short path to citizenship. Where is their grass roots lobbying group?
