UConn Mentor Connection
Applications are now available for the University of Connecticutâs Mentor Connection program. The annual three-week residential summer program, designed for academically talented high school sophomores and juniors, will take place on UConnâs main Storrs campus July 12â30.
Students will participate in creative projects, investigations, and cutting edge research with UConn faculty and advanced graduate students. While developing a collaborative and personal relationship with a mentor, students will also discover a wide range of possible career options while also gaining a taste of college life. Participants will take part in field trips, social events, and nonacademic activities in the evenings and on weekends.
Financial aid is available. Scholarship applicants are required to provide a copy of their parent or guardianâs 2003 federal income tax return. Deadline for applications is May 3. For more information, contact Heather Spottiswoode at 860-486-0283 or email at heather.spottiswoode@uconn.edu.Â
