Millbrook Singers

At Homesteads, Friday

The Millbrook Singers will be offering a free public performance at The Homesteads at Newtown on Friday, April 30, at 7 pm. All are welcome.

The group was established three years ago under the guidance of Choral Director Janice Casale. The Singers are a 16-person four-part chorus.

The Singers usually perform on the Millbrook School campus in Millbrook, N.Y., during campus arts nights, but occasionally perform off campus, and have even graced the stage of Carnegie Hall – where they performed with the national youth choir in the summer of 2002.

The Singers perform a wide range of music from comic opera and standard jazz pieces to Beatles music and traditional Hebrew hymns.
